Setup

To install the package and its dependencies, use the reproducible environment provided by renv:

# Install renv if not already installed
install.packages("renv")

# Restore the package library as specified in renv.lock
renv::restore()

After restoring, configure the application by editing the config.yaml file located in app_env/config/. Typical settings include paths to the images directory and the SQLite database. Set the base directory environment variable before launching:

Sys.setenv(IMGVOTER_BASE_DIR = getwd())

Then load the configuration:

config_file_path <- file.path(get_app_dir(), "default_env", "config", "config.yaml")
cfg <- load_config(config_file_path)
init_environment(config_file_path)
